Roberts has coached soccer for over 36 years; including numerous region titles, seven runner-up and one state champion title at the high school level; three state titles and four state runners up appearances at the club level. He has received multiple coach of the year awards, including Chandler Unified School District, region, state and United Soccer Coaches Coach of the Year. Roberts received the NFHS Arizona soccer women’s coach of the year award in 2021-2022. He is also in the Higley High School Hall of Fame for his coaching achievements and state title in 2006. He is a nationally certified coach who has had multiple players go on to play college soccer and join professional teams.
